@DAVID_A_SLADE – Mr Taylor Lautner. A photo I took during early camera lighting tests. Not a whisker in sight.
Earlier I showed you all the promo pictures for the Volturi. Now I have another treat for you guys. The pictures were amazing before but now I have to show you the HQ production stills of the Volturi so you can pick up the details. Here are all three the them:

Here they are:
Michael Sheen as Aro, leader of the Volturi, in Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon – 2009
Jane is a high ranking member of the Volturi Guard. The Volturi were waiting to change her and her brother Alec until she was older, but humans—believing her and her brother to be witches—tried to burn them at the stake, which forced Aro to act while the twins were little more than children. Jane’s experience with the pain of burning alive shaped her into a potent weapon – she developed the ability to inflict immense pain on others with only a look.
As if James, Victoria and Laurent weren’t menacing enough, ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ introduces us to a new band of baddies far more eeeeeevil: the Volturi.
Allow us to reveal the first official image of Caius, the most sadistic of the ancient Italian vampire coven. Caius is played by Jamie Campbell Bower, who knows a thing or two about bloody good times from his stint as Anthony Hope in ‘Sweeney Todd,’ and will also soon be seen as Gellert Grindelwald in the ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ movies (can he and R. Patz broker peace between warring fan armies?)
So what else do you need to know about Caius? This ominous vamp was born in a suburb of Cincinnati in 1988, is a Libra, and enjoys snowboarding, Fruit Roll-Ups and old re-runs of ‘Blossom.’ (Kidding!)
Caius was born around 1300 BC, though the date of his transformation and his special powers are unknown. But we do know that he really, really wants to kill Bella, Edward, and Alice. And we’re not going to lie, he looks pretty good for a 3,300-year-old.
In this promo pic, the 16-year-old Canadian is wearing an obviously darker suit, but he’s nonetheless a solid match for the eternally youthful vamp. His is said to be the following: “The Volturi were waiting to change Alec and his twin sister Jane until they were older, but humans tried to burn them at the stake, so the Volturi were forced to ‘change’ them while they were young. Since acquiring Alec and Jane, the Volturi have seldom needed to fight — their victims are simply slaughtered.”

MARCUS
Full Name: Marcus
Status: Vampire
Group: Volturi Coven
Date of Birth: Around 1300 BC
Date of Transformation: Unknown
Special Abilities: He sees the strength of the relationships between people
VOLTURI
<1) The Volturi include: Aro, Caius, and Marcus as the leaders, and then Jane, Alec, Demetri, Felix, Heidi, and several other unnamed members of the guard.
2) The Volturi are similar to a ruling body, and protect the secret of vampires by wiping out any “problems” as vampire law defines.
3) The Volturi live in an ancient Tuscan city called “Volterra”.
4) Aro and Jane’s powers do not work on Bella.

What do you think?

MTV: Kristen, in your opinion, how is the relationship between Bella and Jacob in “New Moon” different than the one between Edward and Bella in “Twilight”?
Kristen Stewart: It’s such a different relationship; it’s like entirely original.
MTV: It seems much more playful.
Stewart: Yeah, exactly. They’re light; they actually have fun with each other. Edward and Bella are always so strange, you know?
Taylor Lautner: It’s always so tense.
Stewart: And only he can bring her out of that rut. Like, she literally is going to die; she’s going to stop eating and be done. And the only thing that brings her out of it is this lightness [Jacob] brings.
MTV: What is one of the main things you’re eager for us to see when “New Moon” hits theaters in November?
Lautner: I think the biggest thing you learn is that I disappear for a while, and she starts going through a separate depression. You go into a depression — would you call it that? — when I leave.
Stewart: Oh my God, yeah.
Lautner: Then she comes back to discover that I’m a werewolf, so that’s the big boom. Yeah, I get to transform into a werewolf a couple times, which is awesome.
MTV: What was the stunt work like in those scenes?
Lautner: Well, Jacob’s thing is he actually can transform in midair. So I got to do these really cool stunts where I got to actually run and then they’d hook me up on wires and I’d jump up in the air and then I’d come to a jolting stop and have to hang there for a bit. That’s what you saw in the trailer, actually. That was a lot of fun. I get to do a lot of cool stunts in this one.
Stewart: That cute, little, fuzzy wolf.
MTV: He is very huggable. Tell us about one scene that you read either in Stephenie Meyer’s book or in Melissa Rosenberg’s screenplay that you were like, “Man, that’s going to be tough to pull off,” and tell us how you were able to figure it out.
Stewart: “New Moon” is riddled with all of that. I think it’s the one book in the series that I was intimidated by — in a good way. That’s the best feeling to start a movie with. But probably, my favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], “It’s him; it’s always been him!” Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.
MTV: It was a tough day to shoot?
Stewart: Yeah, and just like everything in our movie, it’s such a heightened version of reality. It’s like, people don’t just break up [in the "Twilight" films] — they break up and it literally kills you. It’s not like you just say, “Oh, I’m really depressed and crying.” Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, “Am I doing enough? Do I look like I’m going to die?”
MTV: Yeah, it would be tough to be the most dramatic person in the world, but without being cheesy. And Taylor?
Lautner: ["New Moon"] is very complicated. There’s a lot of heartbreak, there’s a lot of things going on. Edward leaves at the beginning, she goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it. Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me. It’s all over the place, and there’s a lot going on, and there’s many of those scenes that you described.
MTV: Which was your favorite to shoot?
Lautner: My favorite one was — well, we call it the breakup scene — but it’s the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I’ve cut off my hair, all different for the first time. I have to tell her that we can’t be friends anymore.
Stewart: He attempts to break up with me — but it doesn’t work out.

MTV has a new article about a documentary that will be about the Twilight phenomenon and its impact on Forks. It’s a DVD in HD that hits stores October 15th. Here is the documentary’s poster:

If you’re like most Twilighters, you have a wall calendar with the November 20 release date of “New Moon” marked by a giant X, a star or two, and four or five red circles around it. But if you can’t wait that long, now you have a new date to mark down — and a new “Twilight”-related movie to look forward to.
“The full title is ‘Twilight in Forks: The Saga of the Real Town,’ ” explained producer York Baur, revealing details exclusively to MTV about the soon-to-be-released flick, whose existence has remained a secret — until now. “It’s a documentary about the town and the impact of the ‘Twilight’ phenomenon on the town. It’s a DVD that is shot in full HD, and it’s going to be available to the public on October 15.”
From now until that date, Baur and director Jason Brown will be unveiling exclusive sneak peeks of the film on MTV.com every Tuesday — continuing to lift the veil on the first-ever “Twilight” documentary.
“Everybody that’s a fan of ‘Twilight’ has a vision of what Forks is like,” Brown said of the real-life Washington town where Stephenie Meyer set her vampire-romance saga. “In the movie, we get a peek at that. But in fact, they didn’t shoot the ['Twilight'] movie in Forks. So we’ve gone actually out to Forks. And you’ll get a chance to meet some of the real people and see some of the real places that are featured in the story.”
